SHRED-It is coming!
Come down to the County sponsored document shredding event this October!
Shred-it mobile trucks will be on site at Liberty United Methodist Church - Rush Creek Campus on October 19 from 9:00 a.m. to noon or until the trucks are at capacity.
Residents are encouraged to bring up to 2 bankers, or copy paper size boxes of documents for safe and secure destruction.
This event serves as a way to increase public awareness of identity theft, making our communities safer places to live. Proof of residency is NOT required. See you there!

Pumpkins Galore: Visit the Kearney Fun Farm for a plethora of fall fun and attractions starting September 13. Find even more fall festivities at Carolyn’s Country Cousins Pumpkin Patch in Liberty! Carolyn’s opens for the fall season on September 21st.
Mysterious Mazes: The Liberty Corn Maze opens for the season on September 6th and their 2019 maze design is called Wild West in the Midwest.
Family-Friendly Frights: The Worlds of Fun’s Great Pumpkin Fest starts October 14th, the Happy Haunt Nature Walk and Boneyard Jamboree at Smithville Lake’s Nature Center is on October 4th, Kids Safe Halloween at the Shoal Creek Living History Museum is on October 26th, and the Bill Payne Halloween event in Excelsior Springs is on October 31st.
Frightful Fun: Worlds of Fun’s Halloween Haunt is the scary place to be this season, starting September 14th. On October 4th, the Excelsior Springs Chamber Trolley is offering several fall themed trolley tours. Find less frights and more history on the Big Shoal Cemetery Tour, held at the Atkins Johnson Farm and Museum on October 12th.
