Clay County adopts a one-year budget that covers the period of January 1^st to December 31st.   The County is committed to providing exceptional service to our many communities, residents and businesses.   Clay County is proud to provide budget information that is transparent, comprehensible, and easily accessible for everyone.

The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a planning document which is updated annually to reflect current conditions and the financial position of the County.  Capital expenditures should enhance, acquire or extend the useful life of assets through a variety of activities.  By reviewing the capital plan annually, the County can accommodate new projects, revise current undertakings, identify capital project needs that align with the Strategic Plan and develop a financial road map.
